Australian Training Awards 2012 – Small Employer of the Year
At a national award ceremony held in Melbourne, Comstar Systems welcomed the outstanding result of winning national Small Employer of the year 2012. Catherine Hammersley – Cave and Ian Bowden received the award from the Hon Minister Tom Kenyon MP for South Australia.
In the past three years Comstar Systems has grown its business thanks to commitment to training and development of its employees. Comstar Systems is a diversly skilled workforce with a multi – skilled team of industry professionals who take up the challenges of our industry daily.
Comstar Systems wins Skills Tasmania Training Award 2012
Small Employer of the Year
Catherine Hammersley – Cave accepts the award for Tasmanian Small Employer of the year 2012, from Neil MacKinnon from the TCCI. The training awards recognise outstanding achievements by employers, training organisations and secondary schools.
This award is a great achievemnt and is a reflection of our organisations capability to adapt and change with the rapidly growing Telecommunications industry. With seven staff completing Australian Apprenticeships in 2011 and several employees curently undertaking apprenticeships and traineeshps in electrical, business and intermediate rigging.
